Award-winning painter Anne Sutton was born and raised in Toronto and currently resides in Milton, Ontario. Drawing and painting since early childhood, Anne is primarily self-taught but has also refined her skills with painting workshops and classes. Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a diploma in Graphic Design from Humber College. Anne also teaches adult art classes.

Anne's favourite subjects include landscapes, flowers and rural and equine scenes. Her medium of choice is watercolour although she has also recently begun to paint with acrylics. Drawing inspiriation from nature and the southern Ontario Landscape, Anne often combines detailed realism with expressive, painterly washes of colour.
